Sharpening
While we are touching up portraits to make the subject look more stunning, we should touch base on sharpening. This is even more important if you are using an SLR camera because they don't produce photos that are as sharp as point and shoot cameras. When a photo is sharpened, the edges will be more crisp and the detail can be more dynamic. I like to use sharpening specifically for eyes.
