Using Bridge

Bridge is a file browser and management system. Sure windows does let you do some of the same things, but Bridge is much more comprehensive. One of the nice things about bridge is that it will show a preview of almost any file type. Windows usually want show you what an Illustrator file or Photoshop Document looks like, but Bridge does. There is much more to Bridge than that, but that one of the reasons that I like Bridge.

The purpose of this lesson is get you into Bridge and let you become familiar with it. We will be using it quite often throughout the course, so while I am explaining how to use Bridge, I would like you to try to do what I am doing. This may mean that you need to pause the video, try what I am showing you and then restart it. Don't be afraid to play around with Bridge.

This is the handout that accompanies the follow videos.

The next few videos are shorter and discuss different pieces of using Bridge. They are short to make it easier for you to stop and experiment. Give it a try! It won't bite, I promise!
